The purpose of the course is for students to be introduced to Therapy through the Arts, and then to get to know and understand both the theoretical background and basic parameters of the existence and operation of a series of applications encountered in different educational settings. social and therapeutic contexts. In this context, they are used to achieve a variety of individual or social goals, such as, for example, in the context of Special Education. It includes study, analysis and practical application of methods and techniques used in environments of educational, social and therapeutic applications of Art Therapies, with the aim of developing similar abilities and skills by students.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:
Know the basic types and functions of Therapy through the Arts
Understand their social and psychological dimensions
Use techniques of Therapy through the Arts in some of the topics under consideration
Engage in original artistic activities by applying some of the basic principles of Therapy through the Arts.
